"Devotions"
Sorry for the delays in posting. We had 8 places to go for Christmas this year so we were busy (We had one a couple weeks before Christmas and we missed one). As I was reading my Devotions this afternoon I felt like I should share what I read. I was reading Joshua 3 verse 15 it says "And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)" the worst time possible for them to go across the Jordan was during harvest season and God had them go over it at that time but just when your going through your worse trails God steps in and gets you through just like he did for the children of Israel! Joshua 3 verse 13 says "And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap." We just have to take that step of faith like the priest did and God will come through for us! Such an encouraging Devotions for me today! Thanks to God for His help!

"Quitting Bad Habits"
#1-Quit trying to please everyone. Although you can do it in a nice and kind way. I'm learning this!!!
#2 Quit fearing change. Lord, help me on this one. Changing myself is something that I'm not good at although with the Lord's help I have been changing a lot of myself (I might add that its a POSITIVE change) here lately and will continue too!
#3 Quit living in the past! As my husband always tells me I can't live in the past and people change. He is so right (unfortunately it has taken me awhile to realize that). I'm working really hard on this one. Like most people's past mine isn't a good one and I'm doing my best to change that.
#4 Quit putting yourself down. Like my husband says putting yourself down doesn't do any good and it only makes it worse (he is quite the intelligent man)! And I'm not gonna lie this is one of my worst habits.
#5 Quit overthinking. Boy oh boy. Lord help me in this area. I wish I could say that I'm doing better in this area but unforunately I'm not its a hard one to conquer.
My goal in this blog is to encourage and share my testimony to help others!!! Until next time.

"Believe"
You can do anything you set your mind to do with God's help! It's something we all need to work on is believing in ourselves that we can do whatever we want to do. Whether it would be increasing your faith or just getting through a day, believe in yourself and God will help you conquer it!
Yes you are!!!
There's my daily encouragement!!! Till next time!

"Blessed"
As I watched Minimalism (what little bit I watched it shows that you can have hardly anything and still be thankful) a little bit this afternoon it really got me thinking to be more thankful for what I have and about the things that I want that I don't really need. It also has me getting rid of my clutter that I've been meaning to do for weeks. I now have my kitchen decluttered let me know what you think. I'm always afraid of it looking like I have no decorations when there is nothing out.
My cabinets are a little out dated but when we moved here I didn't wanna pay the money to get new ones so we went and got new door knobs. Maybe some year I'll get new cabinets but back to being thankful. I'm very thankful that I have cabinets in my kitchen.
Ignore the dishes please, my dishwasher was washing other dishes.
My refrigerator usually is covered with stuff, right now it currently just has pictures on it.
My Christmas decorations aren't on the table yet. I was wondering if I should leave nothing on it? Any thoughts??
I trust you enjoyed my thoughts on being thankful!!!! We can always count our blessings!!!! Always be thankful for what you have it makes you appreciate it more and it makes you happy as well!

"Let it go"
When things happen in life let it go it's not worth wasting your time! When you've done all you can do in your own power. Pray to God he will give you guidance. That's what's going on in my mind right now. Till next time.

"Thankful Hearts"
No matter the test or trail you are going through there is always always something to be thankful for! Here lately I have really been thankful for traveling mercies and protection I always am but I've been more thankful lately. I don't know about the rest of you but I always take for granted the food that I eat every day. Yes, I thank God for my food when I eat but its one of those things that you do daily that you don't realize the true meaning of being able to have three meals a day! And of course I'm very thankful for my husband every day that he gets up and goes to work and never complains about it (I need help in that area)! Till next time!
