Proverbs 3:7 KJV...

 "Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil."

"The Lord met with me this morning...............

 This morning in my Devotions I was reading in Lamentations 3 verses...

24... "The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him."

So thankful we can have hope in Jesus!

25... "The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him."

Lord teach me to have more patience.

26... "It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD"

Another good one about patience. Hoping and waiting patiently for what the Lord hath for me.

28... "He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him." 

Thank the Lord that we are never alone. He is always with us! Lord help us to silently come to him and listen to what He would have for us!

Moab was trusting in their own works and treasures.

As I was reading this in my Devotions today. My thoughts were something like this...Lord help me to fully surrender my thoughts and treasures to you. Help me not to dwell on my own thoughts and desires.

 You could be helping somebody who's having a bad day, received bad news, lost a loved one, going through something difficult and your encouraging text, card, post or phone call can change their whole day to something positive. If you ever feel pressured to do one of those things please do it. Your words mean something to someone! 💛

Ecclesiastes 3:11......

"He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end."  

God has made each and everything in this world beautiful including you. Be thankful for the body he has given you! 💗

"WORDS"

You never know what your words can do to one person. I had some really nice words spoken to me today that I can't get out of my mind but also have some words that weren't necessarily friendly that won't get out of mind too. I'm choosing to try and forget the negative one and keep the positive ones! 😊 Choose your own perspective (I'm preaching to myself here as well). 

 

"Hardened Necks"

 "Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words." Jeremiah 19:15

This verse of Scripture was in my Devotions this evening. 

Lord helps us that we would never do that! May we obey God's Word!

Keeping Encouraged

 During these difficult days we need to keep encouraged in the Lord! Prayer changes things!  Listening to Church services online helps! Reading God’s Word helps!
